"If the machine of government is of such a nature that it requires you to be the agent of injustice to another, then, I say, break the law."

Get a life...all American post-WW II presidents should be hanged if body counts were to be a way to measure a person. Che never said that he did not execute. He accepted it. And such executions were absolutely essential to change the pre-capitalist structure and power relationships of society. But how can you understand about such issues? You are too busy with NBA and your fries, coke and quarter pounder.
I almost deleted medhi's comment, but it was so twisted, so morally backwards, and so irrational that I thought it revealed the poisonous socialist/communist philosophy quite well. And that's one of the goals of this blog, sooooo:
Let there be no doubt: abhilash medhi is a piece of human fecal matter. I left her(his?!) comment up simply to show that there are apologists for mass murder walking this earth, and that most of them are leftist in nature. Since medhi is a bitch, I'll address him/her as female, although gender is unimportant to me when addressing people of no intelligence or integrity. She writes: "all American post-WW II presidents should be hanged if body counts were to be a way to measure a person" Well, I guess you could make that argument, I certainly am not a fan of any of them (even though Che Guevara was a million times worse). Although I am no fan of US Presidents, your abject lack of knowledge is revealed by the fact that you say "post WWII"! LOL. The body count of several of the pre-WWII US presidents was vastly greater (I guess you forgot the murder of the American Natives, Lincoln's war, the 1906 creation of the AMA, The first and completely unnecessary WWI, etc...). ...So that tells me you know nothing of history and don't use facts as a guide. (of course, the fact that you're defending a mass murderer in the first place tells me that.)
She continues: "Che never said that he did not execute. He accepted it." Well, that makes it all OK, my mistake! Idiot! Oh, I'm sure that that makes it acceptable in your world that Che took personal delight in shooting 14 year old peasant kids in the head with his .45. Yep, the fact that he admitted that he was a mass-murderer makes it all right! This just shows how insane Abmishmash and people like her are! (And why they and all socialists should be kept very far from the reigns of power! They seriously see no problem with government executions, if it enables their plans for the individual!)
The absolute stupidity of medhi comes from the fact that she then says: "And such executions were absolutely essential to change the pre-capitalist structure and power relationships of society." First of all, the executions did nothing but murder innocent people. Second of all, that sentence has no meaning. Is murder better than free trade? ...Idiot! Free trade brings wealth and abundance. Murdering communist dictators hold society in the dark ages. Open your eyes, you piece of communist trash! (Not that I'm insinuating that we had anything resembling the free market in the USA. The USA went communist/socialist in 1913 with the adoption of the communist central banking system -The Federal Reserve-- under Wilson -a "modern liberal" Democrat. Central Banks are a part of the communist manifesto and the Communist Party's longstanding plan for America. ...No glaring contradictions in my philosophy!)
medhi then shows the true depth of her ignorance: "But how can you understand about such issues? You are too busy with NBA and your fries, coke and quarter pounder."
You stupid, motherless douche, medhi!
First: I've forgotten more than you'll ever know about both politics and economics.
Second: In case you didn't notice the rest of my board, I'm a futurist libertarian, don't watch sports, and wouldn't be caught dead eating junkfood. Not that they should be banned or regulated, as you no doubt believe. I gaurantee that I've read more books, and books of greater substance, than you have.
You see, medhi, I don't think that human freedom is a bad thing. I don't hate my fellow man. I don't want to narrowly proscribe human action. I am not the hateful, nasty, unintelligent person that you are.
Rather than cruising the internet defending the actions and ideologies of mass-murdering dictators, you'll want to investigate the reading lists on my site. Reading them stands to make you a better person, ...a prescription you are in dire need of following.
If you don't have any time to read about economics or human freedom, I have some alternate advice: Go gargle with a broken lightbulb, you silly leftist piece of shit.
Jake Witmer I agree whith everything you said, it is sad how socialists have no real defense and always try to defend butchers like Guevara who supported the mass murder of "counter-revolutionaries", ie. people that didn't agree with him.
I am a marketer of financial services, and I oppose the Federal Reserve System, because I oppose forced servitude (slavery). I don't want to work for the Federal Reserve. I don't want my labor to help prop up any government. As such, I've grown very hungry for a free market that does not make me the unwilling accomplice of coercion. I'm also someone who continuously seeks to move to an environment containing a greater number of options. An environment that contains more options is called a "market". The term "market" is a broad designation that contains all choices and incentives (positive and negative) to exercise those choices. There are many synonyms for "alternatives" to the market. Here are a few: statism, collectivism, coercion, bullying, tyranny, dictatorship, totalitarianism, unfreedom, "mixed economy", socialism, communism, fascism, democracy, republicanism, the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, conservatism, liberalism, theft. These are all terms that are synonymous or at least aspects of the same thing.
